Take the intimate sound of a string quartet and add some funk. San Francisco-based Turtle Island Quartet plays John Coltrane, they do be-bop and hip hop and Brubeck, and they won a Grammy in the Classical Crossover category for their recent CD "4+4." The group's playing a tribute concert to John Coltrane at Keene State College on Wednesday night and will perform some of the program in our studios tonight.
