Tonight on the Front Porch, we're exploring the great unknown. Life is filled with mysteries that we just weren't built to fully understand. We as humans have spent almost all of our history trying to unwrap the secrets of the universe, and we'll probably never stop trying. Love, Death, God, Life, the Afterlife -- these are the great unknowns that make up our existence. And tonight we're going to hear radio stories about people trying to figure it all out.

All of tonight's stories come to us from the Public Radio Exchange. Because of some rights issues, we can't offer tonight's entire broadcast on the web. Instead, we encourage you to check out the stories (and leave your comments on them) at PRX.org.

The stories we heard tonight are:

God is Talking To Me, by Hans Anderson.

Alan Lightman's essay for the This I Believe Series.

Disney Death, by producer Jake Warga

Love is Like an Apple, by producer Adrien Boyse.
