Connecticut Senator Joseph Lieberman's primary loss may be the first in a long line of political races this fall driven by feelings for or against the war in Iraq. As mid-term elections draw near, we'll look at public opinion and what the fallout over politicians' stances on Iraq may be. Laura's guests are Andy Smith, Director of the UNH Survey Center and Wayne Lesperance, Associate Professor of Political Science at New England College.

I was extremely disappointed

I was extremely disappointed in today's show. The whole tone of the program was 'those hapless democrats-they can do nothing right'.

There was no mention (except by one caller who was quickly dismissed) of the legitimacy of Lamont's candidacy / campaign and what he stood for. Why, if I didn't know better, I'd say all the comments were taken from typical Karl Rove spin.
