The War Tapes

New Hampshire filmmaker Deborah Scranton got some good news a few weeks ago.

Her film, The War Tapes, had just been named Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The film documents the lives of three New Hampshire soldiers who had been deployed to Iraq.

But Scranton used a different technique than most filmmakers.

She gave the soldiers the cameras.
