Army Love

Army Specialist Daniel Gionet was buried Friday in Pelham.

He was killed when a roadside bomb exploded near his vehicle earlier this month.

This is not the story about Gionet the fallen soldier.

Instead it is the story about how the 23 year old and his 19 year old wife--now widow --fell in love about 18 months ago.

His wife Katrina says they met through a mutual friend on a trip to a mall in upstate New York.

The two flirted all day and wound up back at a friend's room at the Ft. Drum barracks watching a movie.
