We hear them on TV shows and read them in crime novels, and many of us can even recite them from memory. We know our Miranda rights… or do we? We’ll look at the history of Miranda rights, their meaning and their future, forty years after the Supreme Court’s famous decision on the rights of the accused. Laura’s guests are Buzz Scherr, professor at Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, and Charles Putnam, co-director of the Justiceworks research institute at the University of New Hampshire. We'll also hear from Keith Lohmann, Director of the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council.
