Trumpet soloist Jay Daly joins us on the Front Porch tonight. He's played with everybody from Aretha Franklin to Tony Bennett, and he appears with the Granite State Symphony Orchestra this Saturday. We'll talk with him about his group, New England Brass, and about the art of arranging music.

And we'll hear a piece by reporter Hilary Frank about how trumpters and other musicians deal with injuries that effect their playing. The story comes from PRX, the Public Radio Exchange.
