Freelance writer Wendy Thomas decided last year that it was time to de-clutter her house, one room at a time. She's been talking with professional organizers and getting rid of all the extra junk she's collected over the years. She's writing a column about her experience for the Telegraph of Nashua called "Cutting the Clutter". She'll join us to talk about it.

Cutting clutter is one thing, but getting your house really clean is something else entirely. So we also check in with Mary Findley, author of the new book "The Complete Idiot's to Cleaning". She'll tell us what many people do wrong when they pick up a mop, and she'll give us tips on getting our homes cleaner faster.

We'll also hear reporter Rebecca Williams' story about the beauty of "freecycling." The story comes to us via The Public Radio Exchange.
