Drive and AmbitionCommuting ties into just about every facet of our lives. It's related to the housing and job markets, our personal preferences and values, the prevalence of two-earner families, the U-S trade deficit, climate change, taxes, community vitality, personal relationships and the list could go on. Drive and Ambition is a six-month project that is game to tackle any and all of these dimensions.

Every few weeks, we will air informed and incisive commentaries and profiles of individual commuters. See the section, Heard On Air, to see what we've done and comment on what others have said. Your comments could also become part of our coverage.
With your help, we will assemble an eagle-eye view of commuting and find the person with the longest daily commute. Check out the Destination: You section. Give us just a few details about your commute. Or take it further and tell us more about your personal experience with commuting; we'll be looking here for new people to profile.
The Commuter Quiz ranges far and wide across the commuting landscape. It dips into aspects of getting to work that might never have crossed your mind. We think you'll find it fun but be warned, not too many people get most of the answers right.
If all of this inspires you to learn more about commuting in the Granite State, we'll consider this a success. The Info Depot gives you some good starting points for how you can get involved in shaping your commuting options.
