Public access television is much more than just “Wayne’s World”. Although community TV stations do offer their share of goofy fare, they also are filling a serious civic media niche. We’ll find out what public access television is…it’s successes and struggles and how it fits into the overall media picture. Laura's guest is Dottie Grover, President of the New Hampshire Coalition for Community Media and Director of Cable Services for the Londonderry Access Center and Skip Tenczar, Assistant Professor of Communication Arts at UNH Manchester and board member and former Chair of Concord Community Television. We'll also hear from Gerry Morin, who ran community access television in Laconia for two years and is now running a startup in Milford and Steve Budkiewicz, Executive Director for Concord Community Television.
