If analysts have it right, The Sober Worm is coming.

It's not the latest threat to the state's maple sugar crop.

But it may be a threat to your computer.

The sober worm is a computer virus and its scheduled to hit on January 5th.

Rameses Martinez is Director of Malicious Code Operations at a Reston, Virginia-based company called I-Defense.

He tells NHPR's Mark Bevis that malicious code experts like himself have been watching the Sober Worm for years.
