The US Supreme Court Could Take a Case Involving International Trade

A case that could have an effect on New Hampshire companies may end up before the US Supreme Court.

Goss International in Dover is asking the high court to rule in a case involving a trade dispute with a Japanese company.

The case is worth more than 30 million dollars to Goss.

And some proponents argue the case could have a greater impact on international trade.

Church Donates 50 Tons of Food

The state reports that food stamp demand is up 18 percent compared to this time last year.

The New Hampshire Food Bank says due to changes in the marketplace, it’s harder and harder to secure donations.

All that plus a struggling economy and advocates for the hungry say the need for food is only going up.

New Hampshire Public Radio’s Dan Gorenstein reports that one church has tried to put a dent in the problem.
