Snow Causing Problems for Many Towns

Another foot of snow fell this week in parts of New Hampshire.
This winter, the snowfall is record-setting for many towns and cities, with some areas seeing more than 10 feet.
While it’s great for the ski industry, municipalities are struggling to remove the snow and finding a place to put it.
New Hampshire Public Radio’s Amy Quinton reports.

Local Veteran Offers Wheelchairs, Walkers, Hospital Beds to People in Need

Rising healthcare costs affect just about everyone.

But the financial burden is particularly heavy for those who pay out-of-pocket for large ticket items like wheelchairs, scooters and other essential medical equipment.

But one man in Pembroke found a way to ease that burden.

NHPR’s Dianne Finch reports.
