New Hampshire to Open First Cyber High School

Some high school students in the state may soon be competing with their parents for use of the home office.

That's if those students choose to attend the state's first charter school in cyber-space.

The virtual high school is scheduled to open in January, offering online high school classes and degrees.

Proponents say that cyber schools provide flexibility.

Critics worry that students will lose the social interaction that old fashioned brick & mortar schools offer.

3643rd Company, Dismissed

Members of the 36-43rd Security Company got a chance to sleep in their own beds last night.
The New Hampshire National Guard Company arrived home Sunday after a year stationed in Iraq.

The Jewish Identity of Marc Chagall

Marc Chagall is one of the 20th century's most intriguing painters. He was born a Russian Jew and his career spanned and was affected by two world wars, the Russian Revolution, the Holocaust and the birth of the state of Israel. We're going to talk with author Jonathan Wilson about Chagall's complicated life and how his ambivalence about his Jewish roots impacted his art. Wilson's new book is called Marc Chagall, and it's part of the Jewish Encounters series.
