President Bush Throws Long Shadow in Primary

President Bush is one of the least popular presidents since anyone began keeping track. In New Hampshire, his overall approval rating is down to 24%, according to the latest Granite State Poll. Even more troubling, almost half of the Republicans in the state think he's doing a poor job.

Today, we check in with Republican voters in Exeter, New Hampshire. We're following the residents of that town in our series, Primary Place.

New Hampshire Public Radio's Jon Greenberg wanted to learn how disaffection with President Bush affects how these voters size up their presidential options.

Rudy Giuliani on his Private Life

Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani was in the state today.

At a stop in Derry, he took questions on healthcare, immigration and affordable housing. But the former New York Mayor seemed most animated when he was asked about his personal life.

Throughout this primary, we are airing longer excerpts of the candidates' encounters with voters. The woman who asked this question said she was doing it on behalf of her nephew.

Thousands Stand to Lose Homes in Crisis

It seems like everyday there is a new report about trouble with sub-prime home loans.

Now, the New Hampshire Banking Department is traveling around the state holding counseling sessions for homeowners in trouble.

There’s a concern that people stuck in unaffordable mortgages will not be able to refinance.

Kucinich Campaigns On Seacoast
