Debate Heats Up Over New England's Future Electricity Needs

A debate is heating up in New England about what to do about the region’s future electricity usage.

Managers of the regional power grid have said new power plants will be needed to meet growing demand.

But an environmental group and government watchdog have teamed up to urge the managers to encourage more conservation instead.
