That includes children with parents or family members currently serving in the military. For the past few years, the National Military Family Association has run what are called Operation Purple Camps. The free, week-long sessions are designed to get kids away from the pressures of their daily lives, and a chance to confront those same pressures. New Hampshire Public Radio’s Dan Gorenstein reports.
