Law Enforcement Busts 20 for Child Pornography

Local Zoning Laws Hinder Wind Power

A new law that will go into effect next month will require the state to get at least twenty-five percent of its energy from renewable sources by twenty-twenty-five.

But for individuals who want to tap into cleaner, greener technologies, it might not be so easy.

As NHPR Correspondent Brian Early reports, the town of Amherst is refusing to let one man create his own energy from windmills.

Sex Offenders and the Law

A small but growing number of New Hampshire towns are limiting the number of places where registered sex offenders can live: away from schools, parks, or anywhere else children might congregate. We’ll look at the debate over how fair...and how effective...these ordinances are.

That 1 Guy: Bassist Mike Silverman

We'll talk with Mike Silverman, the West Coast man behind That 1 Guy. Mike studied the bass and played in jazz groups on the West Coast but wanted his bass to do more than it could. So he designed the Magic Pipe which is a seriously refashioned upright with one string and thirteen triggers that sample a huge variety of sounds. He's playing at the Stone Church as part of his US tour, we'll talk to him about the mix of music and innovation.
