New Hampshire Regulators Say Fairpoint and Verizon Should Restructure Their Deal

New Hampshire regulators say the deal between Fairpoint and Verizon needs to be restructured before it can gain their approval.

That deal would let Fairpoint buy Verizon’s northern New England telephone network for 2.7 billion dollars.

But developments in Maine have already made changes to the deal that regulators have been reviewing.

New Hampshire Public Radio’s David Darman has more.
