Fast forward nearly a quarter century and Stonyfield Farms is the world’s leading organic yogurt producer, boasting annual sales of $260 million. But Hirshberg is known for more than just making good yogurt, he’s been honored as a corporate and environmental leader. In our latest installment of the 25 in 25 series, we talk with Gary Hirshberg about his career, the organic movement and how the business climate has changed in New Hampshire over the past quarter century.
