Rare New Hampshire Plant More Precious than Ever

In the woods of New Hampshire, a gnarly beige root is becoming a very valuable, buried treasure.

You might not expect it, but wild ginseng grows here. It's coveted more than ever throughout Asia, and it's at its highest price ever. That demand is putting the state's plants at risk.

Red River Theatre Opens in Concord

Tonight is opening night for Red River Theatre.

That's the new independent movie theatre in downtown Concord.

It's the result of seven years of hard work by a committed group of people who like film and would like to see more nightlife in the state's capital.

Robbi Farschman is Red River's Executive Director.
