Last week the federal government released a new list of plants and animals threatened with extinction. Many of these will be getting additional protection, but officials say limited resources means other species - including the New England cottontail rabbit - won't get extra federal help. We'll look at the successes and challenges in protecting endangered species, both nationally and here in New Hampshire.
