The Governor's New Digs

Governor John Lynch is riding high these days. His approval ratings are at about 70 percent, and he holds campaign war chest that's full to overflowing. And if things go according to plan, the Governor will also soon be living high -- in a very large house he's now constructing atop Gould Hill in Hopkinton.

New Hampshire Public Radio's Josh Rogers has more.

Cellist Kristen Miller

Cellist Kristen Miller has taken it upon herself to re-define her instrument. She wants it to be associated with more genres than just traditional Classical music. Her work is a mix of heavily-layered compositions of folk, rock and world music, and it's often accompanied by her spoken poetry. She'll join us for an in-studio performance as part of our Front Porch Summer Arts Series.

Real Estate in the Granite State

New statistics say the New Hampshire real estate market is starting to slow down, causing many to wonder if the real estate "bubble" is finally about to burst. We'll take a look at the market and where it may be headed. Laura's guests are Kathy Corey Fox, President of the New Hampshire Association of Realtors and Russ Thibeault, president of Applied Economic Research in Laconia.
