Where the Jobs Are....or Will Be

By Mark Bevis on Tuesday, August 1, 2006.

New Hampshire's Department of Employment Security has just released its biennial report on where the job are going to be over the next ten years.

The report predicts job growth in the state will be stronger than average for the next decade.

And as labor market analyst Mike Argiropolis tells NHPR's Mark Bevis, even people with only a high school diploma will probably be able to find work.

A New Hampshire Economist in Vietnam

Economist Russ Thibeault spent a month in Vietnam, and returned with a changed view about the Southeast Asian country's culture and how it could change in the face of Westernization. He spoke with NHPR's Shay Zeller about his experiences in Vietnam, and shared pictures of the trip. You can hear Russ Thibeault on The Front Porch here, as well as view pictures from the program.
