Listener Request: Don't Stop Free Drug Programs

Earlier this week New Hampshire Public Radio aired a story about people whose free pharmaceutical drugs are being cut off.

A listener wrote in to say she’s familiar with the situation and that she would like to see some things done about it.

Refund? It Will Cost You

You’d think that if you bought a laptop computer from a store, and it didn’t work, you’d be able to return it and get your money back.

But it’s not necessarily so easy.

Some retailers are charging so-called restocking fees for returned merchandise.

As New Hampshire Public Radio’s Amy Quinton reports, one Epsom resident was told if he wanted a refund he’d have to pay 150 dollars.

Tilton Group Home Blaze Raises Oversight Questions

The fire that killed three people at a home for the developmentally disabled is now under investigation. But regardless of what is learned, the incident raises questions about whether hundreds of similar homes that serve the some of the state's most vulnerable citizens are as safe as they should be.
