Why Did the Moose Cross the Road?

We all know why the chicken crossed the road. But what about the moose, the deer, the coyote, and the fox? Like the chicken, it might be to get to the other side. But a few scientists in the state are looking for a more complete answer than that. They have spent the last several months studying how animals interact with 28 miles of road in the two northern towns of Jefferson and Randolph. New Hampshire Public Radio’s Rebecca Kaufman recently went out with the animal trackers and filed this report.
