Shooting Accidents in New Hampshire

Four days after Vice President Dick Cheney shot his hunting partner while bird hunting, he has publicly discussed the incident. He spoke with the cable news station Fox earlier today/Wednesday.
New Hampshire officials say similar episodes occur here about three times a year. New Hampshire Public Radio's Dan Gorenstein found out how the state handles what it calls hunting related shootings.

Vermont's Dairy Industry / Cattle Pregnancy Tests

Recent reports show that the number of dairy farms in Vermont is dwindling. We'll talk to State Secretary of Agriculture Steve Kerr about why that is and what the state is doing about it.

Later in the show, we travel to a family farm in British Columbia to learn about "Preg Test Day" --it's when the ranchers find out whether or not their cows are pregnant.
