Confectionary architects from all over the state have entered the Canterbury Shaker Village's Annual Gingerbread Showcase. Over thirty people have entered.   The 100 Mile MealBy The Environment... on Wednesday, November 22, 2006.When New Hampshire families and friends sit down to their Thanksgiving dinners tomorrow, most of the ingredients for that meal will have traveled over a thousand miles to get to the table. And because it travels such distances, the food we buy can have a big impact on the environment. But a movement is growing across the country that encourages people to look for local ingredients for their meals.
