ArchivesEmergency Prescription Coverage for Medicare Drug BenefitBy Kerry Grens on Tuesday, January 10, 2006.Today (Tuesday) the Governor signed a bill that will pay for up to ten days of drug coverage for victims caught in what the Governor called a nightmare. Legislators passed the measure to pay for prescription drugs that should have been covered by a new Medicare pharmacy benefit. The legislature met in a special session to respond to widespread reports that people were unable to get their prescriptions filled. New Hampshire Public Radio's Kerry Grens has more.
