Methadone is a drug used to help heroin and other drug addicts ween themselves from their addictions. Many local officials seem to believe the center is needed in the area. But some residents share fears that the center will create more problems than it solves. The Keene Sentinel's Donna Moxley reports. Groundfish Off New England: Good News and Bad NewsBy Mark Bevis on Wednesday, September 14, 2005.On Thursday, The New England Fisheries Council is scheduled to hear the first formal report in three years on the status of New England's groundfish. The report, from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Northeast Fisheries Science Center, gives regulators a snapshot of whether fish stocks are improving.
