A Man with a Planet

The Granite State's Immigrant Workforce

The story of one illegal Mexican worker caught recently in Southern New Hampshire ? again raises issues about immigrants who come here for jobs: questions of legal status, worker treatment?and the impact on the home-grown local labor force. Laura's guests are Mark Krikorian, Executive Director of the Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, D.C., and Dr. Westy Egmont, President of the International Institute of Boston, who oversees the International Institutes of Boston, Lowell and New Hampshire.
