Lay or lie? Among, amongst, or between? Affect or effect? We're talking with Steve Kleinedler, the author of "100 Words Almost Everyone Confuses and Misuses". Mr. Kleinedler is also the Senior Editor of the American Heritage Dictionary and author of the recently published book "100 Words Every Word Lover Should Know".

Silvie Frere was a child when World War II broke out in Europe. Her father served in the French Army while her siblings and mother stayed in Zurich. Her observations of what took place during those years reflect an uncommon innocence and keeness. She's the author of "Beethoven's Eighth," an account of her experiences before emigrating to the U.S. at age 24.
