One of them was a Plymouth woman, who went to Voices Against Violence after leaving her abuser and found emotional support, shelter and help with resources so she could stay safe. She found support in talking with a Childhood Cancer Lifeline volunteer who knew what she was going through. Dane is seven now, and knows he's a survivor.
