Hacker Disrupts State's WebsiteBy Mark Bevis on Wednesday, February 9, 2005.State officials are hoping to find the hacker who broke into the state's website Tuesday and forced it to close. The Web site went back up after the server was replaced. Apparently the Hacker was not able to get at any sensitive information, but was able to leave a message on the site that read, "Look what I can do." Associate Professor Gary Kessler teaches Computer and Digital Forensics at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. He tells NHPR's Mark Bevis that while it seems no real damage was done, we can bet the people in the charge of the website are taking it quite seriously.
