ArchivesGovernor Lynch Proposes Budget PlanBy David Darman on Tuesday, February 15, 2005.Governor John Lynch today presented his plan to close a budget gap estimated at 370 million dollars over two years. Among his most significant changes--- a 28 cent hike in the tobacco tax and eliminating the statewide property tax.
