No, it doesn't refer to all that deleted “e-mail†in your trash folder, or the spam you get everyday in your inbox. E-waste is the growing quantity of old computers, tvs and cell phones, piling up in homes and in trash dumps across the country. And the anticipated amount of e-waste that could end up in landfills over the next several years, is leading many states to look for ways to keep it out.
