Commission Rejects Gay Marriage

The Commission to Study Same Sex Marriage is recommending that lawmakers pass a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

The move generated strong reaction from opponents and supporters alike.

But to both sides, the decision came as a bit of a surprise.

Justice Joseph Nadeau Retires

New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice Joseph Nadeau has announced he will retire at the end of the year.
He says he wants to work with Iraqi judges as they establish that country's new judicial system.

Burton Unbowed As Gov Repeats Call For Resignation

The Executive Council meets for the first time since the Governor and entire Congressional delegation called for Ray Burton to step down for employing a campaign aide he knew had committed child sex crimes.
