John Lynch Sworn in as NH's 80th Governor

Democrat John Lynch was sworn in today as New Hampshire's 80th Governor.

In his inaugural address, he promised to end the statewide property tax, provide healthcare for needy children, and bring integrity back to the corner office.

2005 NH Economic Outlook

The economic forecast for New Hampshire in 2005 looks pretty good. Economists say the state has fully emerged from its recession, manufacturing jobs are disappearing at a slower pace, and small businesses are starting to snatch up office space. But they also warn that the economic picture isn't entirely rosy and they point to rising interest rates and a weak dollar. We'll take a closer look at what to expect from 2005 with Ross Gittell, Professor of Management at the UNH's Whittemore School of Business and Economics, and Russ Thibeault, President of Applied Economic Research.
