NASCAR Enthusiasts Head Home

The pits have emptied and the wheels have come to a halt, marking another end to a NASCAR weekend at the New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon.

Pete Pistone of Racing One in Chicago talks with Morning Edition's Lisa Peakes about the evolving nature of NASCAR including the event's growing attraction to political parties and new sponsors.

Promoting the New Hampshire Primary

New Hampshire delegates to the Democratic convention in Boston are on a mission perhaps only slightly less important than nominating their candidate for president. They are emissaries in the cause of protecting the state's first in the nation primary. The New Hampshire Political Library has armed them with a small booklet whose title describes the state as "The time tested presidential primary proving ground".
