Ron Abramson realized pretty early on that where there is an imbalance of power, there is also an imbalance in justice. That insight combined with a lifelong desire to practice law, led Ron to dedicate his career to serving the underserved- namely immigrants and low-income defendants. Ron is an immigrant himself. He was born in Chile, moved to America, and became a naturalized citizen in his early childhood. As Chile?s criminal justice system is undergoes a complete revision, Ron returns there this summer on a Fulbright scholarship to teach the next generation of defense attorneys.
