No Child Left Behind

From Utah to Maine, states across the country are taking stands against No Child Left Behind. In New Hampshire, there's a renewed effort in the legislature to make sure tax dollars don't go towards paying for NCLB. We'll talk about these challenges to NCLB and we'll find out how much money the federal government is making available to states. Mike's guests are Peter Burling, House Democratic Leader from Cornish, and Michael J. Sentance, Secretary's Regional Representative from the U.S. Department of Education.

Making an Artist Out of Everyone

Think you can't draw? Think again. Annette Compton believes that everyone is an artist; if they can just drop their inner critic. Annette is a painter, graphic designer and teacher in Woodstock, Vermont. Her new book, Drawing from the Mind, Painting from the Heart, explores both the technical and whimsical nature of creating art.
