The Governor's Race

By Mike Arnold on Monday, March 22, 2004.

With state primaries almost 5 months away, no Democrat or Republican has officially stepped up to take on Governor Benson. We'll take our first look at this year's governor's race, possible challengers and key issues the future candidates might debate. Mike's guests are Tom Rath, Republican analyst and attorney, former NH Attorney General and senior advisor to the campaigns of Howard Baker, Bob Dole, Lamar Alexander and George W. Bush; and Dayton Duncan, author and filmmaker, long time Democratic activist and former Chief of Staff to New Hampshire Governor Hugh Gallen. We'll also hear from Jeff Newman, Concord Chair and Area 5 Vice-Chair for the New Hampshire Republican Committee and Pam Walsh, Press Secretary for the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
