ArchivesVoter Numbers:Cause for GOP Concern?By Jon Greenberg on Tuesday, October 5, 2004.The biggest surge in voter registrations is yet to come but the latest numbers as of the September 14th primary have prompted political scientist Dante Scala to so some historical analysis. In the period since last January, the number of Democrats and Undeclared voters combined was up more than 16 thousand. But the number of Republican voters barely rose at all. In his blog, Granite Prof, the St. Anselm College researcher writes that the meager rise among Republicans bodes ill for President Bush in the general election. Jon's studio furniture is on display at the New England College Gallery in Henniker until October 10th. Jon is a member of the New Hampshire Furniture Masters which has a show at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth. One of Jon's pieces will be on the block at the Furniture Master's annual fundraising auction on October 17th at Wentworth-By-The-Sea.
