In Manchester, the signs of the Democratic presidential primary are everywhere.

Once empty storefronts on Elm Street are now campaign headquarters.

At the main intersections, young volunteers wave signs for their candidates hoping for a few honks of support.

But as New Hampshire Public Radio Correspondent Rebecca Kaufman reports, there's a less visible election just around the corner in Manchester. The mayoral primary is only 8 days away.

Stalled Budget Finally Arrives

At long last, New Hampshire has a new state budget.

The 8.8 billion dollar spending plan cleared both bodies of the legislature by wide margins yesterday morning, and Governor Craig Benson signed it into law during the afternoon.

New Hampshire Public Radio's Josh Rogers has more.
