NH Task Force Aims to Land Job Corp Center

The New Hampshire Job Corps Task Force meets for the first time tomorrow.

The task force is hoping to bring New Hampshire its first federal Job Corp Center.

New Hampshire and Wyoming are the only two states that lack the program.

Task Force chairman Dick Anagnost (says the Job Corp Center could help train hundreds of disadvantaged young people.

He spoke with New Hampshire Public Radio’s David Darman.

General Wesley Clark announced his official entry into the Presidential race in Arkansas Wednesday. We'll take a look at what this means for the primary and for the other Democrats running. Laura's guests are Jennifer Donohue, Senior Advisor for Political Affairs at the NH Institute of Politics and Rich Killion, Director of the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication Studies at Franklin Pierce College. We'll also hear from New Hampshire attorney George Bruno, who is a friend and advisor to General Wesley Clark.

Benson Taps John Stephen to Lead HHS

Assistant Safety Commissioner John Stephen nominated to head the Department of Health and Human Services. If approved, Stephen would replace Nick Vailas, who resigned due to ethics concerns.
