Manchester citizens have great hopes that a sports stadium along with a new minor league baseball team will boost the city?s sagging economy. But does sports revitalize a community? Some experts say no. We?ll crunch the numbers. Laura's guests are Andrew Zimbalist, Professor of Economics at Smith College and author of several books on sports economics including "May the Best Team Win: Baseball Economics and Public Policy", and Vin Sylvia, Deputy Managing Editor of Sports for the Union Leader. The Real Story of the Mutiny on the Bounty

Captain Bligh of the famous story about the mutiny on the Bounty is usually remembered as a tyrant - a man who drove his crew to rebel against him. But Lakes Region resident Caroline Alexander says the truth is much different. She's written a new book, The Bounty: The True Story of the Mutiny on the Bounty, that portrays William Bligh as an excellent navigator, no more a tyrant than any other captain of his day, who was largely a victim of circumstance.

Supporters Hail Likely Clark Declaration

Retired general Wesley Clark is expected to announce his bid for President later today.The former NATO commander would become the 10th Democratic candidate. Local supporters say Clark is the party's best hope for toppling President Bush.

Wesley Clark: Domestic Policies Will Come

Retired General Wesley Clark accompanied his presidential campaign kick-off in Arkansas with a round of calls to news organizations in New Hampshire. An acknowledgment of sorts that he plans to compete in the nation?s first primary.
The former NATO chief is best known for his opposition to U-S policy in Iraq. However, his domestic priorities are less clear.

Edwards Supplies Hot Dogs at Concord Meeting

He also conducted a town hall meeting there.
