Don't make the mistake of calling them "Nexters" or "Generation Y." Americans 21 and younger have worked hard to get out from under the shadow of Generation X. Meet the Millennials. Though they've gotten some bad press -- as spoiled, promiscuous, prone to drinking and drugs -- our guest says this is far from the truth. Millennials, he says, are confident, optimistic, idealistic and civic-minded.

NH Teacher Salaries Get Low Ranking

A new study by the American Federation of Teachers says the salaries of NH educators are far below those of their colleagues elsewhere in the country.

Fate of Barn Tied to Water Bottling Plan

For more than a year Barrington residents have opposed a water bottling plant in their town. In other parts of the state, towns have been struggling with how best to preserve barns. In Peterborough, the two issues, water and barns have merged.

Mystery Week: Janet Evanovich

Mystery Week continues with Hanover resident Janet Evanovich. She's the creator of a best-selling series featuring Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter from New Jersey. Her novels are an unlikely blend of violent crime and slapstick humor. Her book Hard Eight is now out in paperback and the new book, To the Nines, is out this month.
