The cost of higher education can be daunting. In-state tuition at the University of New Hampshire is about $8,000 a year. The cost at private colleges can be three times that amount. Students with a talent for sports can hope to offset those fees if they get an athletic scholarship. To increase their chances, some have turned to professional scouting services.
