Adult Daycare Services Face Cuts

In an effort to balance the books the House budget proposes to eliminate MEDICAID funding for adult day care, ambulance service, and wheelchair van transportation.

BUT Health providers and LAWMAKERS from both parties have questioned the fiscal prudence OF SUCH A MOVE….NOT TO MENTION THE human cost.

Combat Trauma

Many soldiers have difficulty acclimating to civilian life upon returning home from war. Behaviors useful in combat aren't always conducive to day to day life. Our guest says there are ways to minimize the psychological trauma of the battlefield. Homer's The Odyssey is, he states, a casebook for the struggles of returning veterans.
