The report documents the number of smoggy days in each county across the country. And two counties in New Hampshire received failing grades.  NH Greenhouse Gas RegistryBy Brian McWilliams on Thursday, May 1, 2003.A state program aimed at encouraging Granite State businesses to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions has been slow getting started. The Program launched in 1999, but only one company has stepped up to join New Hampshire's greenhouse gas registry. Still many scientists say cutting such emissions is the key to controlling global warming and numerous health problems. NHPR correspondent Brian McWilliams has this listen:
NHCLU Can Study Manchester Police PhotosBy Josh Rogers on Thursday, May 1, 2003.The State Supreme court has ruled that the public has the right to review photographs taken by Manchester police officers. The decision affirms a lower court ruling in a suit brought by the New Hampshire civil liberties union. The organization wants to analyze the photos to determine if the Manchester police department engaged in racial profiling. The photos date back to 1998, and were snapped during stops that did not result in arrests. listen:
